“They don't sing. They don't dance. They know no songs and they have no poetry… Then how do they Heal?

How do I express the hurt of Spirit when there's no heart to hear it?

The soules of my ancestors sing lost songs;

The memory of these songs travel through the streams of my veins in hopes that I Heal. So off my tongue do poetry feel the air.

If I can't sing,

if I can't dance,

How can I Heal?”
